Leaping into the air, Sir Dariun ap Scathach dispatched the huge dragon with one mighty blow of his gleaming sword. As its head was shorn from its neck, crimson ichor spattered the brave knight's gleaming armor. He leaned heavily on his sword, wiping the sweat from his brow.

Catching his breath, he looked over at the worn leather satchel that rested nearby, and sighed. Almost a hundred Shakespeare essays in that bag, and all of them needed to be graded by the next morning.
Given a choice, he thought he might prefer the dragon....

A Learning Experience is a Play-By-Forum Chronicle for White Wolf's Changeling: The Dreaming that follows the adventures of a group of young Kithain as they discover the wonders and mysteries of the world of the fae, while experiencing all the joys and tribulations of high school at the same time.

Joining the Game

To join A Learning Experience, e-mail your character (use this format for your character sheet) to Midori at storytellingoddess@juno.com. Please type everything into the body of the e-mail message; do not send your character sheet as an attachment.

This game is played on an online forum called Nephrite's Citadel; players must have an account on the forum before they can post. Lurkers are welcome, but are asked to post very sparingly.

StoryTeller's Note: This game draws on elements from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show, the fantasy novels of Mercedes Lackey, and various anime series. It also takes place in a somewhat brighter version of the World of Darkness® with some deviations from canon. If you dislike any of these things, then this may not be the game for you.
